Fresh Figs in Butter and 15 Year Balsamic
Use fresh Mission figs just as they are turning deep purple and are soft

Cut figs in half vertically. Add to pan with melted butter. Saute gently one minute per side. Drizzle aged Balsamic vinegar over figs and coat. Serve at once and despite the simple nature of this dish, it stands up to the finest dessert wines like Filhot or Coutet, or Beerneslause
